Interactive Prototyping with Arduino: Make it happen

Arduino (https://www.arduino.cc/) is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for anyone making interactive projects.

General Steps to Recreate:

  1. Get Arduino board and the components that you need.
  2. Download & install the Arduino environment (IDE).
  3. If needed, install the drivers.
  4. Make the physical circuit (wiring corresponding to any sensor/component is generally available online).
  5. Connect the board to your computer via the USB cable.
  6. Launch the Arduino IDE.
  7. Select your board.
  8. Select your serial port.
  9. Open the blink example (or write your own program).
  10. Upload and run the program.
